Out Pulse High Level: If the input is 5V, the output high level is above 4.5V

    This flow meter works exactly as advertised. I spend weeks online searching for an inexpensive 3/4″ flow meter with national pipe thread. This was the only one I found under $100. All other inexpensive flow meters I fount had British Pipe Threads which isn’t compatible with NPT

    I have a dedicated hot water return loop and when I moved into the home, the re-circulation pump was running 24/7. My propane bill was high. I mean after all it’s a 24/7 heat exchanger. So my first solution was to put the pump on a timer. Ok this reduced the bill, but it also put our home life on a schedule as well for hot water demand. Wife was not happy. My second solution was to use a smart switch for the pump connected to Alexa and programmed as a one-shot for 30min after we told Alexa to turn on the hot water. However we were still on a 30min schedule and this didn’t work for the washing machine or the dishwasher. Wife was not happy. My next solution was to use an inline flow detector to turn on/off the pump and as I was researching this solution I ran into the Smart Recirculation Control product. Didn’t have to design it myself, just buy it and install it. Bottom line it works. Excellent closed loop engineering has gone into it using the three sensors. The wife (and I) are now very happy with the results.
