When installing the Smart Thermostatic Control in a home without a dedicated recirculation loop there is always the question, “how many thermostatic crossover valves do I need and where should they be installed?”
Homes without a dedicated recirculation loop (a.k.a. dedicated hot water circulation line) can be retrofitted with the Smart Thermostatic Control Complete System which consists of a Smart Thermostatic Control 32, an AquaMotion AM5-SF1L hot water recirculation pump, and one or more AquaMotion AMK-ODR thermostatic valves.

The only comment is to look over your water heater’s specifications and check if there is a limit on the temperature of the water
UPDATE 11/19/2022: We have had reports of the 75 ft and the 100 ft cables having intermittent issues reading the temperature sensor value. The sensor will briefly read -196°F and cause the controller to turn the pump off. We were able to reproduce this issue
